Founded by British design consultant Benjamin Weaver, The London List is a digital publication exploring art, architecture and design, from carefully researched and thought-provoking articles to interviews with artists and industry insiders. With a focus on twentieth-century and contemporary design, the aim of The London List is to foster a greater understanding, from an art-historical standpoint, of the lives of architects, artists, and designers who over the decades have created those radical works of art which we now consider to be iconic.

Ben graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MA in Architecture and went on to study at the University of London. Since then he has worked on a number of private residential interior commissions, as well as curating and sourcing art, antiques and decorative arts of the twentieth century. He also has several years’ experience writing and providing guidance on all aspects of architecture, interiors and design.

New for 2019, Decorex presents Design Encounter, a boundary-pushing collaboration between architect John Allsopp and team of acclaimed interior designers. For The London List, Ben has interviewed John Allsopp, Samantha Todhunter and Tatjana von Stein, talking to them about their involvement in Design Encounter, the architecture and interiors industries and what inspires them on a day-to-day basis. Ben will be participating in a group discussion at Decorex with artist Bradley Seymour, moderated by Julia Neel, discussing the ever-changing landscape of the industry, The London List, and why there should be less of a focus on transient design trends, and a return to substance and understanding in design.
